Grassland farming

A part of the agricultural complex’s lands is used in grassland farming: some types of grass are grown to feed horses, some are for cows and some are good for feeding sheep. Quality hay for winter time is produced for the whole livestock of sheep, developing livestock of cows and horses. In its turn, silage combined with hay as a supplement for animals is an additional source of prolonged-storage nutrients.

Straw is used in a number of areas: a workshop was created, where straw is ground up, steamed up, cooled down and packed into sacks. Mycelium is added into the sacks on which then oyster mushrooms are grown. After use, the contents of the sacs is processed into pellets. Besides, straw is used to fertilize the soil during combining.
