Yuri Luzhkov’s farm started supplying Moscow with its Kaliningrad-grown buckwheat

Agroindustrial holding “Veedern” has started to deliver buckwheat to Moscow, as announced by its owner the ex-mayor of Moscow Yury Luzhkov.
“We are preparing large batches of our buckwheat to be delivered to the capital,  those are packed up already”, said Yuri Luzhkov. He added that the price of the cereal will be “competitive”.
In total, the company intends to send about 200 tons of buckwheat to Moscow. The product is already on sale under the brand name of “Medovye Luzhki”.

Indices of harvesting campaign in Yuriy Luzhkov’s farm business exceed the Russian average

Ex-Mayor of Moscow, now farmer Yuriy Luzhkov has reported on the results of the harvesting campaign at his Weedern agricultural complex located in Kaliningrad Region. “We have successfully completed harvesting, despite weather conditions. The total volume of cropped cereals amounts to more than 10,000 tons of grains from 3700 ha we’ve used this year. Some types of cereal crops have yielded more than the average in Russia,” Luzhkov said.


Alikhanov paid a visit to Luzhkov

As a part of his business trip to Ozersk on January 1, Interim Governor Anton Alikhanov visited Weedern together with several members of the local government.
